The ShreeJourn: The Literary Society (Ms. Sheenu Sharma, Ms. Shruti Chanchal, Mr. Dipkesh Kumar) at IITM College of Engineering organized a  “Mi-Matters: A Psychology Workshop”  led by Ms. Shruti Gosain, PGT Psychology.

• To promote awareness about the importance of mental health and emotional well-being among students.

• To provide interactive learning experiences that help students understand the complexities of the human psyche.

• To motivate students to adopt mindfulness, self-reflection, and resilience in their personal and academic lives.

Description:

Shreejourn: The Literary Society successfully hosted a Psychology workshop titled “Mi-Matters”, which turned out to be an enriching session and an exhilarating experience focused on the discoveries of the human psyche. The workshop was designed to provide students with an insightful understanding of mental well-being, self-awareness, and the significance of psychological balance in everyday life.

The guest speaker for the event was Ms. Shruti Gosain, PGT Psychology, who brought her expertise and passion to the session, making it both informative and inspiring. She conducted an interactive presentation that emphasized the importance of mental health and its role in personal as well as academic growth. Students actively participated in engaging activities, which not only enhanced their knowledge but also made the workshop lively and thought-provoking.

Ms. Gosain’s motivating talk encouraged students to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors with greater awareness. The session helped in breaking certain misconceptions about psychology while underlining the importance of mindfulness and emotional resilience.
